There's nothing that I like more than travel. But there is one thing that I can't stand when I am on holiday, and this is, to carry my suitcase up and down in the city. This will never happen to you in Barcelona, because there are several cloakrooms in the city. This are the places you have to go if you don't know what to do with your suitcase before the check-in or after the check-out of the apartment.

Cloakrooms in El Prat airport.

In Prat airport there is a reserved place in Terminal 1B for people who need to leave their luggage there. It is located in the basement of the T1, at the inferior level of the square.

Cloakrooms are opened 24h a day, 365 days of the year and there are tree different prizes depending on the size of the luggage. The big cloakroom it cost 5,40 Euros, the middle one 4,80€ and the small one cost 4,20€ per day.

If you arrive to T2, you have two options. The first one is go to the T1. And the second and the best one is to leave the luggage at Sants Station when you travel to the city centre.

Cloakrooms in Sants Station.

Sants Station has a place to keep your luggage. It is located next to McDonalds, so it is very easy to find. This place is watched by security guards and cameras 24 h a day, so your luggage are in good hands. Besides, the service is available 365 days a year between 5.30 AM until 11PM.

There are approximately about 100 cloakrooms in different sizes.

In Sants Station there are two different sizes:
Small: 80 cm Depth / 60 cm Height / 40 cm Width
Big: : 90 cm Depth / 60 cm Height / 50 cm Width.


In the small cloakroom you can keep your handbag or brief. It costs 3,00€. In the big ones you can keep your suitcase, and it costs 4,50 €.

Cloakrooms in North Bus Station.

In this Station is possible to keep the luggage too. The time to do it is between 5.30 AM and 1AM. The only problem is that is not as well communicated as Sants Station, but is a good option if your apartment is near or if you need to take a bus there.

In the North Station, as in Sants Station, there are special cloakrooms (2 metres x 25cm) for another kind of luggage as skis or surfboards. In this case it costs 5,00 €.

The cloakrooms are located in the indoor part, in front of the station. There are about 50 white cloakrooms with different sizes; small, big or special cloakrooms (there are only four of this kind).


Those specials are 2 metres x 25cm and cost 5,50€.

Cloakrooms in the city center.

There are other options to keep your luggage in the city. For example, Terminal Marítima Sant Bertan Ferris, ideal for those people that travel by ship. The prices and dimensions are similar to the others cloakrooms, but this one is open from 9:00 to 13:00 and from 16:00 to 23:00 hours.

The private Locker Barcelona has a big advantage in comparison to the others; in located at the centre of Barcelona. In 5 minutes from Plaza Catalunya, at Estruc Street number 36. It is open from 9:30 to 21:00 hours, however, in summer it opens one hour before and closes one hour after.
