Transfers from Barcelona and Girona's airport

The best way to arrive to our apartments from the airport is: by taxi. In Barcelona taxis are very easy to see, all they are black and yellow.


When a little green light is illuminated, means that taxi is empty; if the light is yellow it is occupied.

You can ask for a taxi at any time and place. In order to stop an empty taxi in the street, you need to by in the pavement and wave you hand in a friendly way. Of course, you can also call it by telephone.

Advantages of taking a taxi:

• You can always sit.
• Is indifferent to the terminal you arrive.
• You don't have to do any transfer, with your heavy luggage in the train or metro.
• They work at any time even at night when the train or metro don't work.
• They never get lost, you don't need to worry about that.

• You don't have to wait 30 minutes.
• It will wait for you even if you plane is delayed.
• There is room for your luggage.

If you need, at your arrival we can send you a taxi to pick you up. A professional driver will wait for you at the terminal with a poster with your name on it. He will bring you to our apartments in a fast and safe way.

If you are more than 4 people, we can send you a big taxi, with capacity enough for 5, 6 or 7 people and the luggage. In that way we avoid you to take two different taxis.

We also have luxury cars if you need them.

By public transport, from the airport (train + metro)

Once you are at the Prat airport, depending of in which terminal you arrive is possible that you need to do a transfer from one terminal to another.. If you arrive to the T1 you need to go until T2 that is where the train station is.

Shuttle T1-Renfe Cercanías Station T2: Coinciding with the arrival of trains (every 30 minutes) a bus joins the train station of T2 with T1. The trip last 10 minutes.



From the airport's sub-terminal B of T2 you can take a train to the city centre. This are the stations the train goes through: Barcelona Sants, Passeig de Gràcia, El Clot and St. Andreu. The route lasts more or less 20-15 minutes until the city centre.

You must take the train until "Barcelona Sants" and transfer to the line 5 (blue) of the metro until "Verdaguer". Then take the line 4 (yellow) until “Alfons X”.

From the metro stop

Once, you are in “Alfons X”. there are three exits.

We recommend you to take the exit named “Plaça Alfons el Savi” then walk the avenue “Pi i Margall”. The apartments are very near.

By public transport, from the train or buses station

By train

If you arrive to Barcelona by train, surely you will arrive to “Barcelona Sants” because is the central train station of Barcelona.

At the same train station, without go to the street, there is a metro stop named "Sants-Estació".

You must take the metro, line 5 (blue) until “Verdaguer” Then transfer to the line 4 (yellow) until “Alfons X”

By bus

If by the contrary, you arrive by bus, may be you came from Girona's airport, you will arrive to the "Estació del Nord".

Very near to the station, just crossing the street you will find the metro station named “Arc del Triomf”

You must take the line 1 (red) of the metro and go until “Urquinaona” and then tranfer to the yellow line (line 4) until you arrive to “Alfons X” Station.

Alfons X Station is the nearest station from our apartments.

From the metro stop

Once, you are in “Alfons X” line 4 (yellow), you will see that there are three different exits.

We recommend you to take the exit named “Plaça Alfons el Savi” the one rounded in the map and then walk the avenue “Pi i Margall”

Once you are there, the apartments are very near.

You can buy a 10 trips ticket (T10), this card can be used for: train, metro, bus and tram. When you arrive to Barcelona, you can buy the tickets in the same station of the train or metro.

By car to David's House, from the North

Sardenya 491, GPS coordinates are: N 41º 21' 35'' E 2º 9' 53''.

Coming from France, the motorway will bring you to the "Avenida Meridiana", In the middle of the avenue you turn right down the street "Sant Antoni Maria Claret".



Later turn to the right again and up the "Padilla" street. Then turn left on the street "Llorens i Barba" and continue by "Taxdirt" until "Secretari Coloma" Go up and turn right on the Avenue "Pi i Margall" and finally turn right again to find the street "Sardenya 491".

By car to David's House, from the South

Sardenya 491, GPS coordinates are: N 41º 21' 35'' E 2º 9' 53''.

Coming from the South of Spain (Zaragoza, Tarragona or Lleida), the motorway will bring you to the "Avenida Diagonal".

Go to the east on this avenue, take the second street to the right (lateral) onto “Plaça de Pius XII” (87 m), then turn right onto “Carrer de Sabino Arana” (240 m), take the via in direction to “Gran Via de Carles III”. Keep letf at the fork and merge onto “Gran Via de Carles III” and don't leave it until find “Carrer Sardenya”.



“Gran vía de Carles III”, changes its name for “Ronda del General Mitre” Continue during 2,6 km. In that moment the street changes its name and is “Travessera de Dalt” Continue for 1km, until find the exit by the street “Sardenya”, the exit is inside the tunnel. Take that exit and you will find the apartment at the left side, in 600 metres.

By car to Vincent's House, from the North

Pi i Margall 110, GPS coordinates are: N 41º 24' 40'' E 2º 9' 51''.

Coming from France, the motorway will bring you to the "Avenida Meridiana", In the middle of the avenue you turn right down the street "Sant Antoni Maria Claret".
